Cookie Policy

Effective Date: April 3, 2026 · Last Updated: July 28, 2026

This Cookie Policy explains how Vurium Inc. ("Vurium," "we," "us") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and platform. This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files stored on your device when you visit a website. They help the website remember your preferences and recognize you on return visits. Cookies can be "session" cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or "persistent" cookies (remain until they expire or you delete them).

2. Cookies We Use

We use a small set of strictly necessary cookies and, only after you choose "Allow," optional Google and Meta cookies used to measure how advertising reaches new visitors. Rejecting optional marketing cookies does not affect account creation, the trial, booking, or payment features.

_fbcMeta Pixel — records the click that brought you from a Meta ad to our siteAdvertising (optional)90 days

The authentication cookie is essential for the Service to function and cannot be disabled. It is set with Secure and SameSite=Lax protections. Optional Google and Meta advertising storage remains denied until you allow it. We use Google Consent Mode v2 signals (ad_storage, ad_user_data, and ad_personalization) to communicate your choice.

3. Third-Party Cookies and Pixels

The Google tag does not load and no advertising data is sent to Google before you choose "Allow." After you allow marketing cookies, Google Ads offline conversion measurement can connect a Google ad click with two events: creation of a real VuriumBook account (including the trial) and the first verified paid Stripe subscription. We send Google a pseudonymous click identifier, event time, transaction identifier and, for the paid conversion, value and currency. We do not send Google the signup form fields, card number, email address, phone number, salon data, or later renewal payments through this integration. Google's use is governed by the Google Privacy Policy; Google also explains business-data handling in Business Data Responsibility. We also use the Meta Pixel after consent; it sets _fbp and _fbc and sends pseudonymised event data under the Meta Privacy Policy. Stripe may set its own cookies during payment under the Stripe Privacy Policy.

4. Managing Cookies

You may change or withdraw your optional marketing choice at any time below. Rejecting removes VuriumBook's stored Google click attribution and prevents new Google or Meta marketing events.

Current choice: not selected

You can also control and manage cookies through your browser settings. Most browsers allow you to:

Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent you from using certain features of the Service (e.g., staying signed in).

5. "Do Not Track" and Opt-Out

We do not currently respond to browser Do Not Track (DNT) signals because there is no consistent industry interpretation. Use the controls above to reject or withdraw optional Google and Meta marketing measurement. You may also clear the related cookies, use a content blocker, manage personalised advertising in Google My Ad Center, or update your Meta Ad Preferences.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date.
